Why gardeners choose natural hardwood mulch
No colorant means nothing but shredded hardwood goes on the bed, which is why market gardeners, vegetable growers and organic landscapers specify it. The fine shred locks together so it stays on slopes, and as it decomposes it feeds the soil instead of sitting on top of it. It weathers from tan to a soft grey over the season; that is normal and does not change how it works.

Good to know
- Water the bed before mulching if the soil is dry; mulch holds moisture in but slows it getting in too.
- Keep it 2 to 3 inches deep and off plant stems and siding.

Bulk delivery is priced by distance from ZIP 08080 (Sewell, Washington Township) and is one material per order; if you want mulch and stone together, place a second order and we will combine the loads where the truck sizes allow. Checkout shows a local delivery line, we confirm the final delivery charge per yard with you when we confirm the order, and pickup at either yard has no delivery fee.
