Why triple shredded dyed mulch is the finishing mulch
Shredding the hardwood three times gives a fine, uniform texture that knits together on the bed, stays put in wind and rain and looks finished the day it goes down. The colorant is a water based pigment that bonds to the wood fiber, so the bed keeps its black, brown or red tone long after natural bark has faded to grey. Black pairs with grey pavers and modern stone, brown with tan pavers and red brick, red with lighter stone and white siding.

- Pickup. Mullica Hill or Williamstown yard, loaded into your truck or trailer.

Best for
- Foundation beds, island beds and tree rings where curb appeal matters
- Commercial properties and HOA common areas that want one uniform color
- Refreshing beds that were mulched last year
- Pairing with pavers and hardscape: black with grey, brown with tan, red with lighter stone
Good to know
- Dyed mulch needs about 24 hours of dry weather for the colorant to set, so avoid spreading right before heavy rain.
- Keep mulch 2 to 3 inches deep and pulled back a few inches from tree trunks and siding.
- Color fades slowly over a season; a thin top-up each spring keeps beds looking fresh without burying the plants.
