Virgin Root Mulch, sold by the cubic yard from Peach Country Tractor's yards in Mullica Hill and Williamstown, NJ. Root mulch is ground from tree stumps and roots, triple shredded into a dark brown mulch with a naturally rich color and no dye. It gives you the deep brown look of a dyed mulch while staying all natural, and it holds its color better than hardwood bark because the dark tone comes from the wood itself. A favorite for homeowners who want dark beds without colorant.
Best for
- Beds where you want a dark brown look without dye
- Around vegetables, herbs and anywhere you prefer an untreated mulch
- Perennial borders and shrub beds
- Large commercial beds that need a uniform natural color
