Genuine Kawasaki 99996-6120 Electric Starter Kit. Factory original Kawasaki Engines replacement part, sold new by Peach Country Tractor, an authorized Kawasaki Engines dealer in New Jersey. Order the exact electric starter kit Kawasaki built for your engine instead of an aftermarket substitute.
Genuine Kawasaki starter parts: recoil starter assemblies, reels, pawls, springs, ropes and grips, plus electric starter motors, drives, armatures and brushes.
A Kawasaki electric starter kit is the complete factory starter motor assembly with the mounting hardware packaged for a one-visit repair. If the engine clicks, spins slowly or grinds on the ring gear, check the battery and cables first, then replace the starter with the genuine kit matched to your engine family.

Fitment. Kawasaki parts are specific to the engine model and spec code printed on the label on your engine (for example FR691V-AS17). Check the Kawasaki parts diagram for your spec, or use the engine finder on our Kawasaki parts pages, and compare the part number before you order.
Electric starter problems are often a weak battery, a corroded cable end or a dirty ground before the motor itself, so test those first. When the starter is the fault, the genuine kit is a direct bolt-on replacement.
Special order. Genuine Kawasaki parts are ordered from Kawasaki when your order comes in and ship to you in about 7 business days.
